It really isnt that surprising knowing the amount of money, time, and testing manufacturers put into making fast skis. In my eyes, the real issue with this FIS debacle has always been the shear disregard to listen to the actual athletes and coaching staff. The approach of fighting this ski radius change never really had a chance against the man, but what about instituting some real change that actually could positively alter future rules and directions for the sport – let the athletes have more say and actually play a rule in the development of the sport. Hopefully this is a path that is continued as I would hate to see this sport tarnished by elder statesmen. Heal fast Warner, you’re good for the sport.
